Christmas Lunch
Our Christmas Lunch this year was at the Function Room at Whitelands Farm sports ground, a great venue, local easy to get to, good parking, lovely room with a great view, plenty of space, good food, but very slow service, the latter will have to be sorted before we go back. We didn’t know until it was too late that we had to put out the tables and chairs, supply table-cloths and crackers and put everything away afterwards...
The lift wasn’t working causing a problem for a couple of members, but will be fixed for next year.
I did say you could only qualify for the lunch if you ran two circuits of the playing field, I don’t think anyone did it so we didn’t want the food to go to waste, but next year.....
