U3A at 40
U3A 40th Anniversary (updated 2-Jun-22, restored 10-Dec-22)
On Wednesday, 1st JUNE 2022 we celebrated the founding of u3a in 1982 with a Picnic in the Park.

The celebration took place at the Chesterton Community Centre.
 It started with the Chairman's address (credit to Leslie) | |

 And there was plenty of handicraft (Rennie) | |
 Ukulele Orchestra provided entertainment for those who were sitting inside the Community Centre (Dave). | |
 When we started, it was quite dull, but later the sun came out and people enjoyed sitting outside (DaveJ). | |

 It turned out that you can learn Jenga in five minutes. The big smile disappeared a bit later when the tower collapsed (Lawrence). | |
