What: This is a group for beginners or members who have played some bridge and need to refresh
Where: Group Coordinator’s home or others members.
When: Every two weeks, 2nd and 4th Tuesday afternoons 1400-1600

Bridge - Geoff
This is a small group of 5 to a maximum of 7 members which for 2023 was effectively a refreshers group. This group met for the first time in February (with some breaks for holidays) and will finish at the end of November.
The format usually comprises a short teaching session followed by several pre-dealt hands which are played and the bidding and playing is discussed afterwards.
The group has in this year and previous years been successful in developing both bidding and playing techniques and has helped to set up spin off Bridge groups. It also tries to help members who are thinking about joining a Bridge club.
It is aimed very much at beginners and/or people who have played a little in the past. It does not attempt to teach bridge at a more advanced level. I am intending to start a new group in January/ February next year.
