What: Learning and practicing Spanish. We are not a group of experts but simply a group of about 8 with varying backgrounds and knowledge but all keen to try our hand at Spanish. Several of us have attended Adult Ed classes in the past, but not recently, so we are a bit rusty and may not have such retentive memories as we once had! To give more structure to our approach, and make it easier to catch up if one misses the odd session, we are using 'Suenos 1' and activity sheets which accompany it. This book can be used as a teach yourself book but better when studied with friends as you learn from them as well. Recently we have added easy Spanish crosswords and easy Spanish readers to our studies, creating more variations to our learning techniques. We try to meet twice a month, usually on a Wednesday morning, if possible, for 1½ hours. When not possible, we might switch to an afternoon or change the day. Group members dictate what is best to keep us together.
When: Often Second and Fourth Wednesday of the month. 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
