Plants and Gardens
The springboard for these informal meetings is the Royal Horticultural Society Plant Finder. From it plants are selected to consider, in their original countries, their diversity and the insects and birds which pollinate them. Since flowering plants originated over 150 million years ago, the continents have moved around, mountains have been uplifted and climates have changed. To all of these, the flowering plants have responded which is how we have so much from which to choose for our gardens.
