Mah Jong
We meet at the White Horse Pub on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month and on 5th Tuesday by agreement with the members. We gather about 11:45 when we order our drinks/coffee from the bar and try to start play at 12:00 to about 2:00 pm.
New members are very welcome and we take as much time as is needed to introduce newcomers to the game and will "buddy" new players until they feel confident.
Originally Mah Jong was played with cards but now uses tiles, which seems strange to us but its use of suits makes it a game which is easily learned by all but especially card players.
