Abingdon-on-Thames

Walking Group Medium

We are a friendly group of walkers who meet monthly throughout the year. Walks are generally 4 to 5 miles long on varied terrain and are on the fourth Wednesday or Thursday of the month. Our members take it in turns to be walk leaders. We also have a programme of evening walks in the summer months, usually 2 miles and starting and ending at a pub, where many of us have a meal afterwards. We have an annual short break of two or three nights (previously Isle of Wight, Dorset, Hampshire and the Peak District) which includes two or three walks exploring another part of the country. If you are interested in joining us, please sign up on the lists at the back of the hall or contact us direct.
