Abingdon-on-Thames

Programme

Below are listed details of our current programme of speakers and events. To find out more simply come along to a Monday meeting and enquire. Please note that Interest Groups have their own wide ranging programme of events open to their membership only. Outings for example are arranged by groups like Gardening & Trips and Visits.

Weekly meetings take place at the Preston Road Community Centre and commence at 2.00pm with notices of U3A events, activities and items of interest to members. These are followed promptly by the event or speaker for that afternoon.

Registration/admission takes place from 1.15pm, after which there is an opportunity to take a good look at the noticeboard, the "notices" book and to meet people before taking a seat.

Our in-house publication "Spectrum" - free to all members - keeps you up to date with interest group activities, outings and special events.

Our Secretary, or any member of the U3A committee, will be only too pleased to answer any queries regarding U3A events.
