Tynedale U3A - Welcome to our website
ALL Tynedale U3A ACTIVITIES ARE SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE BECAUSE OF THE CORONA VIRUS SITUATION. There will be no monthly meetings, no events, trips or outings, no EGM. Groups should NOT meet as normal. For some groups it may be possible to use technology to arrange online meetings. Advice will be available on this in due course. You can find more advice and help for your groups on the National U3A website National.
Thinking of joining? Are you semi-retired or retired? Do you live in the Tynedale area? Do you wish to expand your knowledge or learn a new skill, and make new friends? Would you like to start a new group? Would you like to discuss your interests or pass on your expertise to others? Would you like to meet others in a social environment?
Learn, laugh and live. Meet people, learn new skills and have fun.
Tynedale is the huge area of countryside surrounding the market town of Hexham and the village of Corbridge in Northumberland. Groups organise their own activities and hold meetings in various venues in Hexham and Corbridge and possibly further afield as well. Our main monthly meetings with a guest speaker are held in the Great Hall of Hexham Abbey's Priory buildings, Hexham. If you are interested then come along to one of these meetings held mostly on the first Tuesday of each month (click on Events above for details) at 2.00pm and you will be made welcome.
Tynedale U3A is a registered charity, No. 515733.
