Walking 1

Our Group meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month at about 10.30am and each walk, or amble, lasts about 90 minutes and covers a little over 2 miles. This is usually followed by some refreshment, ie tea, coffee or a little stronger depending where we end up at the time.
We normally average about 9 walkers out of a membership of 13. Each walk has been very enjoyable and members look forward to our next one.
We could do with a few more to join us, all are welcome; just contact me by clicking on the pigeon in the top right hand corner of this page and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
We intend, in the Summer months, to walk every 2 weeks, again on a Tuesday morning. Perhaps we should be known as 'The Amblers' rather than a Walking Group which can, to some, sound a bit too much like hard work.
