Tenterden U3A in the Covid-19 Emergency
When we couldn't meet, we had to find other ways to keep in touch and support each other. Our monthly Update newsletter kept members informed about our activities, and provided useful links to sources of news and on-line resources.
We are fortunate to live in a most attractive historic town - 'the Jewel of the Weald' - surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Those of our members who could get out for exercise contributed photographs of the burgeoning spring, and others contributed pictures of things in their gardens as 'the garden of England' unfolded its riches.
We subsequently made an illustrated Journal of the experience, which has its own page on this website.
