Our interest groups cover a wide range of subjects. New groups are developed during the year and members are encouraged to start a group if they have a good idea and/or get involved and may be asked to participate in their chosen group's topic. Our Groups Co-ordinator would love to hear from you and will always help with the set-up of your group
Meetings normally take place in members' homes, mostly during the day.

Everyone has heard Government's advice to reduce social contacts, and for vulnerable groups including the over 70s to be particularly careful.
Many of our groups have found ways of maintaining their members' interests without physical meetings, using video-conferencing, email, social media and the telephone. Arrangements and the availability of group activities are subject to frequent change as the emergency and its restrictions develop.
All indoor meetings remain suspended but some groups can now meet in groups of six outside, either in a public space or in a private garden. Social distancing is being observed and group leaders are required to complete a risk assessment and inform their group of the safety measures.
Members can find the latest government advice on personal safety, social distancing and instructions for people in the vulnerable and extremely vulnerable categories by following the link on this page.
