Welcome to the North Wilts U3A Website.
U3A groups around the United Kingdom are members of the Third Age Trust. Its main purpose is to encourage lifelong learning for those no longer in full time gainful employment. Its mantra is 'By the Members, For the Members'.
North Wilts U3A offers monthly meetings on topics of interest and the opportunity to take part in group activities with people of similar interests. Meetings in 2018 have ranged from 'Midwifery, never a Dull Moment' to 'Venetian Masks and How to Make Them' via inspirational talks on 'Shelterbox' and a talk from the daughter of one of our members, a Special Needs teacher and International Tri-athlete who was diagnosed with a brain tumour yet managed to pilot a new life for herself. Group activities include Bridge, French, discussion and Opera.
