Christmas session, 2023 saw 92 singers including friends from Singing Extra who joined us for a morning of most things Christmasy. It was only December 1st so we did sneak in a couple of less festive numbers. We had awful jokes, spot prizes, Christmas trivia and mince pies. We sang 20 songs, all to live music and Singing Extra entertained us with four songs of their own. The end of another great year for Singing For Fun.
Singing For Fun is a group of enthusiasts who enjoy singing but who would never join a choir. We sing a mixture of genres, both accompanied and unaccompanied, from across the decades accompanied by live musicians. The main focus is to have fun, but we do work on some of the songs to try and improve. Nothing too serious!

The group meets on the first Friday of the month at Holy Trinity Church Hall (on the corner of Edinburgh Road and Balmoral Road) Kingsthorpe from 10am to 12 noon. There is plenty of parking either in the street or in the church car park accessed from Balmoral Rd. Click on Holy Trinity Church for a map.
