The group meets at the Leader's home on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month between 4.30 – 6.00pm.
It is a group for those who have some existing knowledge of Latin and who wish to improve that knowledge, so it is not a group for absolute beginners.

Lets Learn Latin (for pleasure)

Classes will normally be held in Hackleton Baptist Church on the first and third Tuesday of the month at 2pm. Each class will begin with a short session on grammar, followed by exercises from the Cambridge Latin textbook.
This Latin course is for complete beginners or for those who have forgotten any Latin they knew! It is designed to be a gentle course based on the Cambridge Latin Course textbook, supplemented by sessions on basic Latin grammar, with exercises provided by myself.
Above all, this course is for enjoyment and to provide participants with an introduction to the beauty of the Latin language.
The first book of the Cambridge Latin Course is set in Pompeii, in the time just before the eruption of Vesuvius. It focuses on Caecilius, a Roman financier, who actually lived with his wife and son in Pompeii, at this time.
