Showcase for 40th Anniversary of u3a
On 22nd September 2022, a Showcase event was held at Northampton Guildhall, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the founding of u3a in the United Kingdom. This featured excellent displays by various groups, giving members and the public an idea of what they do. Performances by the Ukulele group and Music Performing group took place on the stage, with demonstrations of Tai Chi, English Dancing and Ballroom dancing taking place in the Courtroom. We welcomed many members of the public, with special guests being the Mayor of Northampton, Dennis Meredith, and Vice Lord Lieutenant, Morcea Walker.
