The Entertainments Committee work hard to organise interesting outings for our members. They always welcome suggestions for outings and would really love some help. Contact Jill with ideas or offers to join the Entertainments Committee.

On the 10th of July we held our Summer Party for 2023 at the Guildhall. We were entertained by the delightful singer Molly Rose, who sang us a selection of vintage songs, some of which we were able to join in with. Afterwards we enjoyed a plentiful buffet lunch and due to the sunny weather were able to sit out in the garden and catch up with friends.
September 22nd 2022 members visited Melford Hall.

On August 10th 2022 we went to Sutton Hoo to see a performance of Macbeth.

On July 23rd 2022 we went to Southwold to see Noel Coward's Fallen Angels at the Theatre by the Sea.

July 12th saw members on a trip to Burghley House.

We held our Summer Party on July 11th July 2022 at the Guildhall Hadleigh. After being entertained by magician Brian O'Leary we shared food prepared by the members.

We were able to meet up again in July 2021 for a trip to Green Island Gardens.

LONDON WALK - BERMONDSEY & THE THAMES
Roger Young has arranged one these ever popular walks - Bermondsey & the Thames with guide Andrew Davies.
Andrew Davies is a very experienced and charismatic tour guide who will take us on a walking tour of Bermondsey which Andrew states "has become one of the most fashionable parts of London - in Dickens day it was one of the most squalid."
Roger Young will be taking bookings and payments for the trip at the meeting on 9th May. The £35 cost to reserve a place is inclusive of coach, driver's tip and guide.
Please note that this is our normal charge for London trips in spite of the rising petrol costs. Refunds will be given in exceptional circumstances that prevent attendance.

THURSFORD CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR
Wednesday November 23rd Cost £60.
A coach will take us to the famous Christmas Spectacular in Norfolk to see the show at 2 pm.

There will be the opportunity to visit the amazing Fantasy Land and Light Show (at extra cost).
The site has several venues for refreshment and shopping.
