Hadleigh Suffolk

Groups

Hadleigh U3A currently has around 20 interest groups. Some of these may have waiting lists.
We are always keen for new interest groups to get started and will offer potential leaders all the help we can. Liz Ferguson is our Group Co-ordinator so please contact her if you have any ideas for a new group, want to join a group that is currently full or have any questions about Interest groups. Contact her here - Liz

We recently asked for suggestions for new Interest Groups.

Some suggestions were.

There has been a proposal for a Local Project Group - please see link on the right to read more. If this is something you would be interested in joining or you would like more information please contact Roger

There has been a proposal for a Monthly Discussion Group - please see the link on the right to read more. If this is something you would be interested in joining or you would like more information please contact Patrick

The Art Group which ran for many years has now closed, Our Membership Secretary, Louise, is keen to set up the group again maybe in combination with a craft group. If you are interested in joining this group please let Louise know. We would have to have at least 10 people attend so that we could hire a suitable venue for the group. Contact Louise if you are interested.

Suggestions for new groups - History of Hadleigh Buildings/Local Architecture - Table Tennis - Singing for Fun.
Again get in contact with Liz to express interest.

You need to be a fully paid up member (or an Associate member) of Hadleigh u3a to join a group, but you can belong to as many as you have the inclination, time and energy to join.

Other Groups that have run in the past but are Currently Resting - Pending New Interest to Revive are -
Floristry - Art - Antiques - Poetry - Philosophy - Psychology - Historic Buildings - Music Appreciation - Beginners Bridge
If you are interested in joining or leading any of these please contact Liz
