Charles spent many years working in IT and is now a volunteer at The National Museum of Computing at Bletchley Park. His talk covered the individuals who thought of using machines to automate calculations, how they did it, who got there first and some of the problems they faced, and he also discussed what lies ahead in the world of computers.
