2023 Activities
In November we made collage with the title of Me and My Shadow - please see all the different interpretations of this theme.
We didn't meet in December - the group organiser was busy with craft fairs and family visits/

August
August Paper and Scissors group made a series of related collages - using circles of different sizes - cut up and composed - the results were great and each person made something unique to them. Some participants are still making brooches - almost a production line!
April
There were 8 participants on Thursday for a Collage theme of 'Music' -anything associated with music... the results were wide and varied. Not everyone felt inspired by the title so they chose 'Holidays' from a list.
March
7 participants used images from Kandinsky and Klee to inspire them.
Feb 2023
7 people attended the session this week including a new participant. The inspiration was from Klimt but some of us went off piste....and ended up with a Mondrian! (that would be me).
It was a lovely relaxing session - next month we will be inspired by another two artists beginning with K - Klee and Kandinsky. See some pictures to the side
Jan 2023
The January session was led by Janet - she brought inks and dyes and paint with different types of papers - and then let us loose... we scratched into paint....daubed paper with a toothbrush.... and dabbed with paintbrushes... scrunched paper and waxed it before sploshing more paint or dye... the results are below. Carrie finished off her Victorian Christmas card at home so that is also attached.
