Art Appreciation
THIS GROUP IS CURRENTLY AWAITING A NEW CONVENOR PRIOR TO RESTARTING
The Art Appreciation group meets between 10.30am - 12.30pm on the 4th Monday of each month at the Holy Cross Church Garden Room
Broadly, we are interested in how we look at, talk about and understand Art and how we try to interpret its various meanings and find common ground with both the artist and other viewers.
Essentially, we are a discussion group - aided by printed materials, illustrations and slides. We are also planning some visits to the Ferens Gallery to look at some art works "in the flesh".
