Our walk starts at Fedw Woods car park. Meet at 9.30 for 9.45 start. The walk is about 4 miles, along forest track and stone lanes, with some muddy sections, a few ups and downs and a steepish section at the end, so we would advise walking poles. The car park is located on Devauden road, Chepstow NP16 6HQ. Devauden route, turn sharp right in Devauden, sign posted St Arvans 3 miles, the car park is just over a mile on the left. St Arvans route, turning left by the Fountain Inn St Arvans, the car park is 1.5 miles on the right. We have provisionally booked a table for lunch at the Coach & Horses, if you can let us know Tuesday morning if you are coming for lunch, so we can let the pub know the numbers. Hope you can join us. Walk Tuesday 30th April. The Queen Inn Upper Cwmbran Road NP44 SAX I have the menu opens 12 noon. We will be parking further up the road passed the pub at Blaen Bran parking area on left. Walk 6 miles to enjoy good views. See you all then Janet. |
