Cheadle & Gatley

Intermediate Spanish

In some respects, Covid did our Spanish group a favour. Instead of meeting once a month, we had time and the enthusiasm to meet each week – on Zoom. We still do this – every Wednesday morning at 10am.

We use flash cards, CDs, on-line quizzes, books, PowerPoints etc to try to get to grips with all aspects of the Spanish language. About once a month, in my home, we meet to drink Rioja, chat, and improve our vocabulary, conversation, and pronunciation.

It has all meant that not only is our Spanish improving but that we have become a cohesive group who have got to know each other well.

There are seven of us in the group and newcomers will always be welcome.
