100th Birthday Celebrations for Eastwood Park Prudhoe Giant Picnic weekend
We were delighted to host a stall at this event this weekend (13/14 April) with pebble painting. Thanks to all who helped set up and man the stall during the weekend. Great to be involved in a community celebration !

A new event from our region:
Northumbria Region u3a Photography Competition
Entries are invited for a photography competition. The purpose is to select pictures to illustrate an updated hard copy tri-fold leaflet about Northumbria Region u3a and supplementary information on its website so photographers must be willing for their entries to be published.
The competition is for photographs that best display the ethos of the u3a of learn, laugh and live. They can be of any activity within the u3a.
Entries should be digital images in jpeg format with a maximum size of 2,000 pixels on the longest side and emailed to seahamdistrictu3a@gmail.com by May 31st 2024 with judging completed by June 30th 2024.
Details of date and locality and preferred title of the picture should be included in the body of the submission email and more than one entry is acceptable.
Please use the wording Regional Photo Competition in the email title. The winning entry will receive a £20 gift voucher.

MAIN MEETING ON MONDAYS
We have a meeting on the last Monday every month (except August and December) which take place in the Parish Hall.
Currently we are holding hybrid meetings, with members meeting in the Hall whilst others join via Zoom. If you want more information or need the Zoom link, please get in touch with the Booking Secretary.

SOCIAL EVENTS ON TUESDAYS
COFFEE PLUS! Held in the upstairs room in the Spetchells Centre, Prudhoe, from 10am to noon on the second Tuesday of each month. As well as IT help at our coffee morning, we now host a book swap.
