The Famous 'Fallas', in early Spring, in the city of Valencia. The series of daytime and evening events goes on for 3 weeks, from the beginning of March, and ends in the spectacular 'Crema'. That is the lighting-up and burning of the massive light-wood structures of every description. Prayers and processions accompany many of the celebrations throughout the special weeks.
