Jubilee Jolly June 2022
To celebrate u3a Day, the Queens' Platinum Jubilee and the 27th Anniversary of Chard, Ilminster & District u3a (2 years late due to the Pandemic) we held a Jubilee Jolly on 1st June 2022. All u3a members were invited along with a partner to an afternoon of displays from our various groups and demonstrations of the talents of Circle Dancing, Harmony-Us and the Guitar groups.
What a delightful and enjoyable afternoon it was with the opportunity to meet fellow u3a members who some had not seen face-to-face for over 2 years.
The Committee provided a cream tea with wine, beer or tea/coffee followed by many members bringing cakes to share.
