Special Presentation to Retiring Treasurer Ken Smith - 21st September 2023 (Posted 21/09/2023)
Ken is made ‘Honorary President’ of Brackley u3a. This, our highest u3a award, is in recognition of all of the hard work and dedication that Ken has given to Brackley u3a. Ken is the very first recipient of this award. An extremely worthy recipient.

New Venue for Monthly Speaker Meetings from the 18th May (Posted 01/04/2023)
Don’t forget that on, and as from the 18th May our ‘Monthly Speaker Meeting’ will be held at our new home, Brackley Baptist Church, starting at 0950 hrs. Why an earlier start? We are finding that quite a few members are turning up a little after 1000 at the moment (as they can easily find a chair at the back of the hall there isn’t too much disruption).
At The Baptist Church the door into the hall is at THE FRONT, facing the audience. Coming in a little late might disturb proceedings, so can everyone try their very hardest to be seated by 0950 (10 minutes to 10) please.
Parking at the Baptist Church. There is plenty of room for all to park if we park sensibly. The Baptist Church have asked that NO PARKING PLEASE in any of the local roads leading to the church.

Table Tennis for Fun Groups are a Smash! (Posted 08/03/2022)
Table Tennis for Fun (Monday 14:00): Thirty weeks after starting back, the Group is making great strides. The increase in attendance has meant that there was a need for another table, which we have just purchased from the savings we had made over the years.
This new Kettler table was used for the first time on Monday 7th March. Not only does it give us extra capacity but has a feature that enables one to practice against oneself. The Group meets at the Brackley Leisure Centre, Springfield Way at 2.00pm every Monday.
Table Tennis for Fun 2 (Tuesday 13:30): The Tuesday "Table Tennis for Fun 2" group attracts a regular number of between 9-10 players, but we could always do with a few more members. We meet at the Leisure Centre every Tuesday between 1.30pm - 3.30pm.
