Equipment Officer
Responsibilities
- To be responsible for holding a key to the Equipment Cupboard located at the George Moore Centre.
- To transport and set up the equipment (stored in the George Moore Community Centre cupboard) in the Royal British Legion Hall for the speakers attending the Monthly Meetings.
- To ensure the equipment is maintained and functional and, where required, arrange for repair or replacements.
- When required, provide equipment for ad-hoc events.
- Maintain a list of all equipment (using MS Excel) for asset evaluation purposes.
- Be aware of any safeguarding issues that may arise and follow through the appropriate channels as deemed necessary for resolution.
Commitment
- 2hrs once a month to attend a committee meeting.
- 4hrs once a month to set up, attend and clear away the equipment for each Monthly Meeting.
- As and when necessary support ad-hoc events or personal requests to use some of the equipment.
- Transport required to transfer equipment back and forth from GMCC to RBL or other location.
Skills Required
- No technical knowledge is required as training would be provided where necessary.
