Coach leaves The Britannia at Cleadon at 11.45am. The Concert starts at 3pm and features Orchestra North East.
Programme: Shostakovick – Cello Concerto No 1, Rachmaninov – Symphonic Dances, Prokofiev – Excerpts from Romeo & Juliet
Conductor – Michael Bawtree and Cello Soloist – Christopher Murray
Costs: Theatre ticket & Coach - £24, Coach – Payable at the February 17th meeting
Meal – 1 course is £9.50, 2 courses is £14 and 3 courses is £18.50 – payable on the day

VISIT TO BISHOP AUCKLAND CASTLE.
This visit follows the 3 year multi-million refurbishment and reopening of the castle.
Entry cost; £10. This includes entry to Auckland Castle and arrival court gardens
Auckland Tower and viewing platform, Bishop Trevor Gallery
Deer park and Mining Art Gallery(where there is a Bob Olley exhibition).
Coach cost; £6. Entry & coach costs are payable at the March meeting.
The coach will leave the Britannia at 09.30

VISIT TO THE MOUSEMAN CENTRE, KILBURN & VISIT TO HELMSLEY.
A tour of the workshop of Robert Thompson, famous for the hand carved mice on each piece of his furniture and also for the creation of the Wooden Dolly situated in Northumberland Square, North Shields.
In the afternoon we visit Helmsley where it is market day.
Cost approx £16 - £17 payable at the April meeting.
