April 20

The Coronavirus may have prevented all group meetings but we have maintained a social contact by email.
Michael has added to his flock and now has a piglet and a Red Doberman puppy. One of Gillian's hens had a prolapse, thanks to a YouTube tutorial and help from husband Charles they were able to sort the little creature out who is now well recovered.
happy Mrs MurrayAnitas chooksSue's four delightful hens are laying daily, one even produced a double yolk egg. They seem to accept the attention of her young dog without too many ruffled feathers. Anita's flock of many different breeds keep her busy especially when putting them to bed. Many like to sleep in her trees no matter what the weather is like. She recently had to have one of her cherished cats put to sleep which was very upsetting. My vicious black cockerel who attack me, Peter and the Amazon delivery man now lives with Anita and follows her around and even sits on her shoulder.
I now have one young and one old hen, three cockerels and four guinea fowl plus a visiting guinea fowl. They all make a tremendous noise if anyone walks down the track and double the noise if it includes a dog.
I wonder what the month of May will bring in these uncertain days.
Stay safe everyone.
Isabel
