Membership is open to anyone who is no longer in full time employment, who wants to broaden their experience through sharing or learning new skills, and make new friends. We are a self-help organisation, learning and teaching together, with over 125 interest groups covering

• Arts and Crafts;
• History;
• Literature and Language;
• Music and Dance;
• Social, Food & Drink, Well-being;
• Science, Nature, Horticulture;
• Sports and Pastimes;
• Discussion.

We organize monthly meetings with interesting speakers, social events, day trips to explore places of interest. There is something for everyone and if you have a special interest which others would enjoy we will try to set up a new group. Please browse through our GROUPS to see what we do.
