Vale of Belvoir u3a Antiques Group
Are you interested in antiques, do you watch TV programmes like Antiques Roadshow/Bargain Hunt or do you have some antiques you would like to find out a little more about them. If so the new Vale of Belvoir u3a Antiques History Group could be what are looking for.
Peter Young who is one of our members has had a very interesting life working as an auctioneer for almost sixty years, specialising in Antiques and Fine Art. He has been involved in Radio and TV programmes like ‘Going For A Song’ a leading antiques roadshow shown on the BBC in the 1960s with renowned antiques experts like Arthur Negus.
Peter will be running this group every month on the third Friday at 2pm in the Methodist Hall. Each month Peter will talk about a different subject which will be informative and entertaining, please see poster.
