Kennet Horse Boat Trip July 9th
Well what a lovely day we had, the barge was great, the lunch was lovely and delicious cake too.
It was so peaceful and Monty our horse was a star, he enjoyed snacking on cow's parsley and vegetation as he gently pulled us along the canal.
We got off at the lock and it was so relaxing taking in the atmosphere.
I think we could have quite happily spent another hour on board, and as we made our way back to the mooring, we had time to reflect on the lovely day.
Our coach driver Howard was great and I think he enjoyed the trip as much as we all did.
