UPWORDS AND SCRABBLE.

This is just a note really for all our New Members who might be interested in the above.
We meet at Chadwell Working Mans club on the second Monday and the second Wednesday.
There is room for as many new members who would care to come and join us. Learn how to play Scrabble and Upwords if you don’t know how to.. None of us have got an Ology except for one and that is certainly not me, so if you can’t spell this is the place to come and learn.
At the club , you can get a drink (if you wish) or (usually) a cup of tea/ coffee (0.50p) from the bar.

As Usual our Upwords/Scrabble Group will be meeting on the 1st Monday and the 3rd Monday of each month starting at 2p.m until about 4.30 ish at our usual venue of Chadwell Workingman’s club. Bus stops both sides of the road right outside so there is no walking once you get off.
This game helps to keep our brain active. Mind you, there are some funny words being put down which I have never heard of. We have been given some new and up to date Dictionaries and you would be shocked at some of the words that are included. But if they are in the dictionary then we are at liberty to use them. Some of which cause a titter I might add. The club are very good to us they will make us a cup of tea or coffee for 50p a cup or you can have an alcoholic beverage if you wish.
Anyone who wishes to join just give me a ring, you are more than welcome, come and spend the afternoon with us and have a good laugh to boot as we usually do.
Hopefully see some of our new members as well as our old members there.
