At our February meeting, Speakers John & Annette Christophers told us the history of clay pottery. Annette then involved nearly every member present in making initial letter discs which she then pressed into the bowl shown. This is to be fired and then returned to us for raffling to raise funds for a cause of our members' choice. Here she is with Chairman Peter Rimmer inciting members to use the bowl to help support a local cause.
Before the talk, there was a short Extraordinary General Meeting at which an amendment to the 'Charitable Purposes' clause of the constitution was adopted. (Constitution available on Documents page of this site)
