Country Dancing Videos
This videos show some of the dances that we attempt, needless to say they're not videos of our efforts!
Cumberland Square - They dance it almost the same as us but the second run through starts with the same couple rather than the side couples!
Dance La Quadrille Francais - A good video that shows how it should be done. Have patience the dance starts about 30s in.
Duke of Hamilton - Main problem here is that some of the men are women but without blue sashes to make it obvious it can be confusing!
Gued Man of Ballangigh - Similar to what we do although the music is different (and the combination of shorts/footwear/socks is positively frightening).
Mairi's Wedding - A good video especially as it comes with sub-titles
Miss Johnston of Ardrossan - As good as we manage?
The Comical Fellow - Shows really well how it should be danced.
