Trips and Events

Stansted Mountfitchet u3a runs a number of trips and events.

Our free Monthly Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month at St. John's Church Hall, Chapel Hill, 1.30pm for 2pm. We normally have a speaker, free tea and coffee are served and you can find information about future trips and events. Prospective new members are welcome to come along to see what we do.

Various Day Trips are organised by members during the year and one or two short Holiday Breaks, normally by coach.

Singer, songwriter and musician, Saffron’s career has taken her from live performance on John Peel’s radio show and tv to tours abroad and playing blues guitar in the Mississippi cotton fields with black blues musicians. Her performance today will feature different styles of guitar from classical to blues.

ITINERARY
The coach will leave Stansted from the bus stop by Tesco’s at 12 noon promptly.
Show starts at 2.00pm and ends around 5.00pm.
Afternoon tea will be served during the interval.
We would appreciate it if you could pay by cheque made payable to ‘Stansted Mountfitchet u3a’.
If you would like to join us we will be taking bookings at this month’s meeting on Thursday 15 February.
