We had our most challenging round so far on Thursday at St Neots. It is most certainly a challenging course, made worse by both the fairways and the rough being covered by fallen leaves which were being blown around by strong winds. Result was that even our good shots on the fairway resulted in balls we could not find. Really difficult to keep pace of play up and expensive on balls. To compound that One of the Buggies failed during the round. We registered strong complaints with the club management and are expecting to be offered a substantial discount on a return visit which we will schedule for 2018. We were fortunate that there were no club players following us round but even so they would have been suffering the same as we did.
Congratulations to all who played on Thursday. On the plus side, breakfast was very nice.
