Beware of the telephone scam where somebody says they are from Microsoft! They ask you to check certain files and when there are warnings found in those files they offer to help you. It all goes from bad to worse as they con you into giving then control of your computer, paying them money, etc.
Just HANG UP --- IT IS A SCAM.
