Art Appreciation group 3 meets once a month, on the 4th Monday of the month, from 2 - 4 pm, at The Foster Room, Stubbington PO14 2AS: this building is next to Holyrood Church. The cost is £1.50 per session which includes caffeine, drinks, biscuits and hire of the hall.
The intention is to encourage members to enjoy exploring artworks of any era, of any culture, and any genre. Members may, if they wish and most do, give a 10-minute presentation on artworks that relate to the chosen subject for the month: The choice of artwork is displayed on a large TV screen and the subjects are chosen (by agreement) to allow detail, depth and diversity of individual response. Discussions of the subject and artworks follow each presentation.
