Pennine Link
Set up in 2005, the Pennine Link is an informal network of u3a's in our area. Our main aim is to provide a meeting ground to exchange ideas, discuss common issues and support each other's events. Meetings are held at least yearly and the participating u3a's take it in turn to host and chair the meeting. At the moment Pennine Link comprises Marple, Marple Bridge & Mellor, New Mills, and Romiley.
As is mentioned under the Groups Tab on this site, any member of a Pennine Link u3a may be able to join the Group activity of of one of the other u3a’s in Pennine Link, subject to there being space for an additional member in that Group.
Pre-Covid member u3a’s occasionally organised events to which all members of Pennine Link were invited. None have been arranged post-Covid, but it would be nice to think that one might be organised in the future.
