Maspie Den is a wooded glen between the East and West Lomond hills not far from the steep first section of the Falkland - Leslie road.
The path is steep in parts where hewn boulders have been placed as large steps. It runs both sides of a burn, looping round under a rock overhang, with a narrow waterfall spouting over. The burn can be crossed at a few points.
We had a beautiful sunny day with the vegetation lushly green. However, due to the previous prolonged dry spell, the burn was not very full.
