They are held at 2.30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month :

There will be a talk by Cleo Goodman - Citizens Basic Income
Cleo was previously on the board of the charity Citizens Basic Income Network Scotland and now works for an organisation called Basic Income Conversation. Her former colleagues at CBINS will give an introduction to her talk

There will be a talk by Claire Davis - Care Words by Falkirk Libraries
Claire manages Care Words which is a project funded by The National Lottery and run by Falkirk Libraries. The main aim is to reduce the loneliness which some older people can feel whilst living and/or assessing day services. This is a free service from Falkirk Community Trust so it is accessible for all communities.

There will also be a talk by John Pearson - ''Blessed are the Cheesemakers''.
John Pearson has spent all his working life in the Food Industry, primarily with Marks & Spencer. Since retiring in 2008 he has consulted for a number of suppliers and retailers.
He is an international cheese judge having traveled throughout Europe visiting dairies selecting dairy products for M & S. He also judges for Which? Magazine.
In 2011 he was appointed Cheese Personality of the Year by the British Cheese Board.
His talk “Blessed are the Cheesemakers” will describe some of his encounters with suppliers and impossible customers.
