!!! IMPORTANT - Temporary Changes To Membership Applications and Renewals Process.!!!
!!! Please Read This Information !!!
Due to the restrictions imposed by the Government as a result of Covid, the procedures have been revised and the following will apply until further notice:
A. New Member Application: Please follow the information at No.1 below and note that payment can only be accepted by Cheque. If you need further information please contact the Membership Secretary via the Contact Page
B. Renewing Members: Please follow the information at No.2 below and note that payment needs to be by Bank Transfer if you can or otherwise by cheque - no cash please. In addition,
the final date for renewal for 2021/2022 is 31st July this year.
C. If we are precluded from holding the AGM or General Meetings in the Memorial Hall, Applications and Renewals will not be possible there and issue of a Membership Card may have to be delayed
Becoming A Member
1. New Members - The annual membership is £17, from 1st April until our year end of 31 March. However, for those new members joining in the period 1st November to 31st March, a reduced fee of £10 will apply until the annual renewal date.
If you are a member of another U3A which you count as your 'Home' U3A, it is £13.50 for the year (just show us your other U3A Membership Card when collecting the one from Collingham).
Application Form - You can download an Application form by clicking on Membership Application Form. Please complete this and follow the information on the form.
When you have completed this either: (i) post it to the Membership Secretary or (ii) hand it in at the next available Monthly General Meeting - Click on the following Link to see the next planned dates Events.
2. Renewing Your Membership
The subscription of £17 is due by the 1st April annually - or, if you are a member of another U3A which you count as your 'Home' U3A, it is £13.50 (just show us your other U3A Membership Card when collecting the one from Collingham).
Paying your Renewal Subscription:
You can pay by Bank Transfer or Cheque. If you are able to, it would be much appreciated if you could choose the Bank Transfer method as this reduces significantly the administration time for the Committee.
Payment by Bank Transfer- To be received by a week before the April General Meeting - (No Renewal Form Required).
The details you need are:

In the Reference Field insert your Membership Number and if the payment is for two people, insert both Membership Numbers using three digits for each. Examples: One Member: 001 or for Two Members: 123,132.
Your Membership Card will be available for collection at the General Meeting in April or May. If you are unable to attend General Meetings please arrange for someone to collect it for you or send a stamped, addressed envelope to the Membership Secretary (see Membership Renewal Form for the address).
Payment by cheque: (Renewal Form Required)
Payment can be completed at a General Meeting and your Membership Card will be issued to you at that time. Cheques should be made payable to Collingham & District U3A.
If you need the Membership Card to be posted to you, please send a completed Renewal Form together with your cheque (no cash) and a stamped, addressed envelope to the Membership Secretary (see Membership Renewal Form for the address).
