The General Meeting is held on the fourth Wednesday each month at 2pm in the Memorial Hall, Collingham. This is open to all members and anyone who is interested in joining us.

Mon Sep 9thIndoor Bowling%New Group% at the Newark Indoor Bowling Centre off the A46

Are you interested in playing indoor bowls then this new group may be for you. It will commence on the Monday afternoon, 2-4pm and costs £4 pp. Its a beginners group but those who have played before will be very welcome too. The group will run on the second and fourth Monday afternoons in the month initially.

Staff at the centre will be offering help and advice and you dont need woods as they will be available to borrow.

Please ensure footwear is flat and do not have trthere are facilities for those less able.

A fun evening for all members at the Youth and Community Centre on Low Street. Our quiz master will provide some interesting questions, and our host will gently move us along to ensure we dont chatter too much.There are prizes for the winners and consolation for the losers and there may just be a lttle rivalry goung on too.

3.50 pp includes nibbles at half time . Please bring your own drink and glass.

Tables can be booked ( 6 maximum per table) at either the next Genral Meeting or directly via Sue Fleet

Beginners Ukelele

This new group is aimed at both absolute beginners and those who may already have a ukelele but havent really played very much.
You don't need to read music as we use chords which will be learnt over the weeks, progressing from the simple to slightly more complex over time. The idea though is to have fun , have a sing and learn some easy numbers we can enjoy.
The initial meeting is Monday 23rd September 4-5pm in the Mayfield Room at the Memorial Hall and will cost £1.
We will then meet every week at the same time.
