Barnet: Climate Change and Environment
We realise that it is vital for there to be many changes to enable future generations to survive. Currently we are:
● researching what our councils and government are actually doing
● finding out what happens to the contents of our recycling bins
● questioning organisations about their policies and activities.
We are also considering what changes to our everyday lives, we as individuals could/ should make including:
● could/ should we do without a car?
● could/ should we adjust our diets having considered the carbon footprint (from production & transport) of food products?
● could/ should we reduce buying new products; buy second hand if possible; find homes for unwanted items or find a new purpose for them?
We meet on the third Tuesday of the month in members' houses.
