Chipping Norton

The December meeting will take place in the Town Hall, subject to any restrictions imposed by the venue.

Graham Sutherland will talk about "The Golden Age of Coaching", looking at horse-drawn travel, particularly in the 18th and 19th centuries. An illustrated talk, Graham will also give a flavour of what it was like to travel in those days and the effect of introducing toll roads.

Also note that SEAN CALLERY from Hook Norton and a former speaker at our meeting, has virtual walks online. He has two presentations which he developed from his tour guide experiences. These cover a quirky guide to the Cotswolds and the story and \midlands connection of the Titanic. You can find these on See more on the LINKS page

Monthly meetings are normally held on the first Wednesday of the month (except January) at 2.30pm in the Town Hall, Chipping Norton followed by refreshments.
