These are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays between 10:00 and 11:30 at Caffe Centro in the Coopers Centre, Burton

Thu Jun 6th AGM 2:30pm. Free event for members. This is our local branch of Burton on Trent u3a Annual General Meeting followed by a talk given by Simon Michael entitled "A life in crime". Simon draws on his rich experience of criminal law, having been called to the Bar in 1978. Now an acclaimed author of crime fiction, this speaker has been highly recommended to our group.

Refreshments will be provided. If you have any special requirements do let one of the organisers on the admission door know and we shall do our best to accommodate.
Thu Sep 5th Talk and Tea 2pm. Our afternoon talk is kindly provided by Gill and Jim Grainger on behalf of the Guide Dogs for the Blind. Gill and Jim have been involved in training puppies for some time and will talk us through the steps from puppyhood to handing a fully trained dog over to a new owner. They will bring along their current puppy in training.

Tea and refreshments will be provided. Please make the organisers aware of any adjusments you may need to hear or access the presentation.

Thursday 24th October 2024 from 2-4pm at The Rolleston Club in Rolleston on Dove.DE13 9DN

Thu Dec 5th Burton u3a Christmas Party

The Burton u3a Christmas Party will always take place on the first Thursday in December until further notice.
Thu Mar 6th 2025 Talk and Tea 2pm - The Code Breakers at Bletchley Park. Ken Kelly, a popular Midlands narrator, will be providing a fascinating insight into the intriguing nature of how the code breakers operated during World War 2 at Bletchley Park.

Refreshments will be provided in the rear of Riverside Church. Please make the organisers aware of any adjustments you may need regarding hearing or access to the presentation.
