Subjects for new groups are always welcome, WHETHER sport, educational or just fun - so if you have a particular interest and would be willing to suggest a new topic - even if you don't become Group Leader - please let us know and we’ll find out how many other members might be interested.

CAN YOU BE A GROUP LEADER OR GROUP FACILITATOR?
It’s really not an onerous job – especially if it is a small group which meets in members’ homes with no outside speakers to arrange or venues to book. Don’t forget, full support and guidance is given by the committee - many of whom are, or have been leaders of interest groups, so have plenty of experience to share.
So please have a think about volunteering – after all the u3a ethos is “by the members, for the members” – and it is not necessarily a solo role being a Group Leader – two or three members with a shared interest can set up a group, sharing responsibilities as appropriate.
