Open Meetings are for members of the u3a and prospective members, who are welcome to attend up to 2 Open Meetings before joining.
The meetings start at 10.00am for signing-in, finding out more about the u3a and meeting other members.
Refreshments are available at a small cost.

The Cascades Gardens, Bonsall: From Jungle to Paradise by Alan Clements
The slide show and talk describes the 22 year development of Cascades Gardens, a peaceful and beautiful 4 acre garden in Bonsall. Originally a wild gorge under an 80 foot cliff with a canal, stream and woodland, Alan, the owner, will discusses the gardens and gardeners that have inspired him, tracking the construction and planting of the garden in his creation of a peaceful and natural garden out of this dramatic landscape

Neil Hallam is coming to talk to us about his journey from a policeman and how he has used his experiences in that role, to write a number of exciting books. Neil has also acted as a police advisor on a number of famous television dramas.
